We are so grateful to have found Dana! My son has made incredible progress with reading and writing since starting his tutoring sessions, and his confidence has grown so much. Dana is patient, encouraging, and really knows how to make learning fun and engaging. Every lesson was thoughtfully planned and tailored to his needs, and we saw consistent improvement week after week. At one point, my son was frustrated at school because of his reading and writing struggles but once he started his tutoring with Dana, he started exceling. This in turn helped grow his confidence and by the end of the school year, his report card reflected his progress. Where he was once getting 2's, he is now getting 3's and 4's. It’s such a relief as a parent to see your child not only learning but actually enjoying the process. Highly recommend to any family looking for a caring and effective tutor! Both of my sons worked with Dana for a few years. She not only helped them tremendously with their reading and spelling, but she also was a sounding board for them. She was able to build a great rapport with them. By the end of their sessions with her they were both at grade level which was something that had never happened before. Being able to meet with Dana via Zoom allowed us to have flexibility - we were able to work with a great therapist that was outside of our area and it allowed for changes in our scheduled if we needed. I would recommend Dana 100%.
